1. All club matches to be fished on a first come first serve basis.
2. No Individual fishing is allowed on a nominated pond for a period of 3 hours preceding the start of a match.
3. It is an offence to leave a rod and line with a hook and bait attached in the water, unattended at any time.
4. NO keepnets allowed, unless previously agreed by committee.
5. Fish not to be kept in a keepnet for longer than 5 hours.
6. Every fishing angler to have own landing net and disgorger and an unhooking mat, none to be shared.
7. The use of barbed hooks and Braided line is strictly forbidden, as are hooks bigger than size 12.
8. A hook length is to be used when fishing on Stanley D.A.C. waters.
9. Deep hooked or distressed fish are to be returned immediately.
10. Fishing to be carried out from permanent pegs, not the jetty and, only one person to a peg.
11. All anglers will be permitted to fish with only one rod, line and hook at any one time unless there are less than 6 anglers on the pond then 2 rods may be used, as soon as the amount of anglers exceeds 6 all anglers must go back to 1 rod only.
12. Fires around Stanley D.A.C. waters is forbidden.
13. Swimming or paddling in Stanley D.A.C. waters is forbidden.
14. Spinning, live/dead bait is forbidden.
15. Rubbish must not be left on any banks, members will be held responsible for any litter left at their peg.
16. Any angler found depositing litter of any description especially nylon line, o the banks or surrounding areas will have their membership revoked for LIFE.
17. All bait to be in suitable containers, no tins, no maggots in plastic bags.
18. no cycles to be left on paths around pond.
19. The excessive use of ground bait on Greencroft Pond is forbidden, sweet corn, meat, bread and boilies must only be used as ahook bait and not loose feed.
20. The excessive use of loose feed on Greencroft Pond is forbidden also pellet is limited to 1 kilo per session.
21. Any person found removing fish from Stanley D.A.C. waters without prior permission from the committee will be deemed to have committed an act of theft and legal action will be taken against them.
22. The angling club shall not to be responsible for, or involved in any personal accident.
23. Dead fish or pollution to be reported immediately to a Stanley D.A.C. Official.
24. All day tickets are to be purchased prior to fishing.
25. Meetings are open to all senior members; 1st Tuesday of every month at East Stanley Club, commencing at 7:15pm.
26. All members in the stated age group must be in possession of a current E.A. Rod License.
27. No artificial baits i.e. sweet corn, maggot, hemp.
28. No floating biscuits i.e. cat and dog.
29. Failure to respect the rules will result in immediate eviction
CLUB CONSTITUTION:
1. TITLE - The association shall be called Stanley and District Angling Club. (Stanley .D.A.C.)
2. OBJECT - The object of the club shall be to promote the sport of angling by way of competition with rod and line.
3. RULES - The club shall be conducted on a non-profit making basis. Any monies accruing are o be spent on improvements to angling facilities, restocking etc. All Officials are to be on a honorary basis.
3.1. The committee shall be elected annually and shall consist of - Chairman, Secretary, Fishery Manager & Treasurer.
3.2. The committee shall be empowered to make decisions necessary for the maintenance and the well being for the club.
3.3. All disputes of whatever nature are to be referred to the committee whose decision shall be final and binding.
3.4. All senior members of the club shall pay an annual subscription of £35 except concessions who will pay £20. Juniors under 16 joining the club shall pay annual £20. Day tickets £7.
3.5. Membership runs from January 1st each year, when subscriptions become due.
3.6. Memberships are strictly bound to abstain from methods of illegal fishing.
3.7. Junior members of the club will not be allowed to fish without the supervision of a senior member.
3.8. All outside clubs booking Stanley D.A.C. waters must pay on the date the water is booked. Evidence of this payment must be carried by the visiting club.
3.9. Club membership cards are to be carried whilst fishing on club waters.
3.10. The club card is NON TRANSFERABLE between members and remains the property of the club.
3.11. Anyone known to have practiced an illegal or improper method of fishing or suspected of violating any of the forgoing rules shall, at the opinion of the committee be EXPELLED from the club.
3.12. Members bind themselves to report any case of breach of the foregoing rules to the Secretary, whether the said breach is committed by a member or a non-member.
3.13. No one shall introduce fish of any type & from any source into Greencroft Pond without the Authority of the Fisheries Manager
